About us
Lacy Surveying Limited is a building surveying practice based on the Herts/Beds border which was established in 2021.

We are experts in investigating and repairing subsidence and other property damage and offer a range of traditional building surveying services. We work with Property Owners, Loss Adjusters, Insurers, Brokers and other stakeholders.

We aim to provide straight forward, fair, impartial, professional advice and guide Property Owners through stressful situations as smoothly as possible.
The owner, Mark Lacy, graduated as a building surveyor over 26 ago and has a breadth of experience, a large part of which has been in the insurance industry.

Mark has a BSc (Hons) degree in building surveying, is a Member of The Chartered Institute of Building, a Fellow of The Association of Building Engineers and is qualified as an Insurance Technician with the British Damage Management Association.
Subsidence Damage Experts
We work with property owners, management companies, insurers, loss adjusters, brokers and other stakeholders to provide assistance investigating and managing insurance claims for subsidence damage from beginning to end.

Our services include initial diagnosis reporting, site investigations and soil analysis, guidance on mitigation, crack width and precise level monitoring, and designing and administering repair schemes.
Insurance surveying
We provide assistance to property owners and all stakeholders dealing with insurance claims for other perils including fire, flood, escape of water, impact, storm, amongst others.

Our services include defect diagnosis and reporting, managing emergency works, preparing repair specifications and project management. We are able to support clients directly and work with other partners during surges following extreme weather events.
